Hi, I am Joanne and I am the Diabetes nurse for the Diabetes Program at the IFHC. I began my career as a lab and x-ray technician in Northern Saskatchewan. It was in Saskatchewan that I received my diploma in Nursing. I then attended the University of Lethbridge to receive my Nursing degree. I have been at the IFHC for 1 year; in that time, I have provided diabetes education, diabetes screening and provided foot care for our diabetic patients. In the near future I will give classes on issues of health pertaining to diabetes and wellness in the new Fitness & Wellness Center. In my free time I like to golf, ski, walk my dogs, and read. |

My name is Katie and I am the APRN, NP for the Indian Family Health Clinic. I graduated from college with a BS in Nursing in 1979. I worked as a RN in a variety of settings from hospital ICU to home care before returning to school to become a nurse practitioner. I graduated with a Masters Degree from Simmons College in Boston, MA in 1989, I have been working as a Nurse Practitioner ever since. I lived in Cambridge , MA prior to moving to MT in 1997. In Cambridge I split my time between Healthcare for the Homeless and Geriatric Practice. As a NP I provide primary healthcare to adult patients. I also work as the coordinator of the Diabetes Program. I am currently seeing mostly patients with diabetes and/or metabolic syndrome. |

Hello, My name is Lee Houle and I am a Chippewa Cree from the Rocky Boy Reservation. I have been with the IFHC since 1997. Working as an Addiction Counselor allows me to make assessments and referrals for aftercare or individual counseling/lectures. I work in group therapy as well as with Level I, outpatient treatment. In my free time I volunteer for Neighborhood Housing, take clients to A.A. meetings, and play music for Native Bible Study. I sit on the board for Gateway Recovery Center. I like people becoming empowered and being set free of their addictions. |

I am Patsy Garman. I am an LPN-Clinic Nurse. I graduated from the Great Falls Vocational Technical Center and have worked as a nurse for 11 years. I have been with the IFHC for 6 months. As an LPN for the IFHC some of my services include giving immunizations, drawing blood, ordering medications, and screening patients for providers. |

Hi, I'm Jackie Monroe, the Office Manager for the IFHC. I am Blackfeet/Navajo and have resided here in Great Falls for 15 years. I've been with the facility since 2000 and I enjoy my job. As a manager my three main objectives for me and my staff are professionalism, confidentiality and accountability. We like to put forth a professional attitude/appearance for the community and strive to achieve the highest quality of confidentiality to all our clients and be accountable to the community as a health care facility. I'm very proud of our accomplishments as an Urban Indian Health Program; work with great staff and collaborate with other MT Urban Centers to achieve the best quality healthcare for our communities.
