Community Resources
ADE Program
Ever wonder how to find affordable housing? Have trouble understanding social service paperwork? Wish you had someone to advocate for your concerns? If so, the ADE program at the Indian Family Health Clinic is here to serve you.
The program, established 2 years ago, is designed to help our clients and community identify and access resources. Our services cover a wide range of areas including issues involving:
- Housing
- Enrollment/descendancy
- Mental health
- Health care/prescription drugs
- Food stamps, TANF, Medicaid
- Social Security
We can provide assistance with filling out paperwork of all kinds. Also, we are able to attend appointments or meetings with clients to provide advocacy services. Anytime you need help but aren't sure where to turn, give the ADE Program a call.
Another part of the ADE Program is the Montana Breast and Cervical Health Program (MBCHP) . For low income women between the ages of 50 and 64, the program provides funding for screening mammograms and Pap smears. Regular screenings are so important in staying healthy. This program helps women take care of their families by helping them take care of themselves.
As part of the MBCHP, the Indian Family Health Clinic has a coalition of caring women who are helping make a difference in the Great Falls Indian community. The Power of Circles of Women coalition meets once a month to plan and carry out projects to improve women's health. Our coalition is small right right now and we want to make our voice stronger. Please consider becoming involved in making a difference! Attend the next PCW meeting. Call the clinic for details on meeting dates and times.
